Client G – Uninterruptable Power Supply Trade-In Program

ATNI receives an average of 175 single-phase uninterruptable power supply units daily from our client via their trade-in program.  Customers go to their website to purchase a new unit, and are asked if they have a trade-in.  If so, they receive a 5% to 35% discount off the price of the new unit, and are presented a free shipping label from United Parcel Service to ship back the trade-in unit.  The address is our warehouse in Colorado.  We remove the batteries, circuit board, copper coil and aluminum, and all of the materials are sold separately to scrap dealers.  The client’s portion of the proceeds is escrowed and those funds pay the shipping for trade-in units for the client’s new three-phase trade-in program.  This program drives new sales, provides a recycling outlet and pays for a new trade-in program.
