Summary
- Job Title: Warehouseman I
- Purpose: Receives, audits, stores, ships, and de-manufactures telecommunications equipment.
- Location: Aurora CO
- Department: Operations
- Team: Warehouse
- Reports to: Logistics Manager
Responsibilities
- Shipping & Receiving
- Loads and unloads trucks.
- Material Movement
- Uses pallet jack to move equipment to and from work stations.
- Packs, straps, and stretch-wraps materials onto pallets.
- Labels pallets with ATNI job number and client activity tracking codes.
- De-Manufacturing
- Disassembles telecommunication racks.
- Separates circuit boards into sellable classes.
- Disassembles electronics into sellable components and recyclable base metals.
- Destroys hard drives with drill press.
- Disconnects uninterruptable power supplies (UPSs), removes their cables, and prepares them for recycling.
- Scanning
- Uses wireless barcode scanner to log telecommunications equipment into and out of warehouse inventory management system.
- Researches equipment information on websites as needed to accurately populate database.
- Quality
- Tracks key performance indicators for assigned work area.
- Updates work checklists with current best practices.
- Participates in ATNI’s quality program by recommending and assisting with process improvements.
- Other Duties as Required
- Maintains neat, clean, safe work area.
- Performs end-of-day cleaning details.
- Participates in warehouse safety program.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Formal warehouse safety training.
Experience
- 3 years of warehouse experience.
Knowledge and Skills
- Mechanical prowess with basic tools, such as drills, screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, socket wrenches, blades, saws, chisels, drill press, and cable cutters.
- Familiarity with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations as they pertain to warehouse and transportation environments.
- Understanding of weights and measures.
- Those assigned to scanning area should have basic computer skills for researching equipment on the internet and fundamental knowledge of database applications.

Physical Work Environment
- Warehouse work environment.
- Must be able to walk, crawl, kneel, stoop, climb ladders, read technical drawings, lift, carry, and pull heavy objects, use hand tools, use various types of telecommunication instrumentation devices, work in extreme weather conditions, work in dirty locations, and work in enclosed areas.

- Hourly wage starts at $11.00/hour.
